Azerbaijan, Jordan discuss cultural cooperation
Azerbaijan and Jordan explored ways of developing cooperation in the cultural field as the country`s ambassador to Jordan Sabir Agabayov met Minister of Culture Barakat Awajan.
They discussed the current state of relations between the two countries in various fields.
They also discussed organizational issues of the exhibition of
Azerbaijani manuscripts in Arabian languages, which is to be held
in Jordan on June 4-6.
Agabayov briefed Awajan on Azerbaijan`s culture, as well as the
current state of bilateral cultural relations.
Barakat Awajan, in turn, praised overall relations between the two
countries, adding that he would visit Azerbaijan to participate in
the second Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
Agabayov presented to Awajan books on Azerbaijan`s literature, as
well as on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and also gifts on
popularization of the country`s cultural heritage.
