Local construction boss dies in jail
General director of the Mutefekkir MTK construction firm died of heart failure in prison on Monday.
Ali Muradov and two other executives of the company were arrested after a 16-story building being built by the company in the Yasamal district of Baku collapsed on August 28. 25 people were killed, while seven others injured as a result of the accident.
Muradov's son Mammad Muradov and relatives said earlier that he was on the verge of death and requested replacing his imprisonment sentence with house arrest.
