Ümid 2019 International Art Competition was held at the Rashid Behbudov State Song Theater.
The event was co-organized by the Azerbaijan Youth Union (AYU) and the Dance Association (ADA) with the support of Jam Group, Trend Life reported.
The competition was attended by various regions of the country, as well as representatives from Turkey and Georgia.
In his speech, ADA President, Deputy Chairman of the Youth Union Aziz Azizov stressed that the main goal of the competition is to help the younger generation to develop and succeed.
"Congratulations to all the participants, I wish them creative success. At the same time, I would like to express special thanks to the art directors for their patience and work that they have invested in their students , bringing up such talented, capable children and teenagers. Many thanks to our judges for their fair decisions," said Aziz Azizov.
The competition was held in various nominations (piano, trumpet, horn, violin, orchestra, musical choreographic composition, academic vocals, pop vocals, balaban, kamancha, folk instruments, khanende, canon, accordion, tar, artistic performance, dance show, break dance, folk style, folk-ethno, Bollywood) by age category: baby (6 years old), children (10 years old), juniors (16 years old), teenagers (16 years old and older).
