Azerbaijan Airlines, the national flag carrier, has announced the start of a discount campaign for students.

Students from local and foreign universities will have the chance to take advantage of a 10-percent discount on tickets to all international destinations.

The discounts are available for students up to 25 years of age on AZAL’s international flights, in both economy and business classes.

The campaign, however, is not available on the airlines’ low-cost flights on the Moscow, Antalya, Istanbul and Dubai routes.

Tickets are available at AZAL ticket offices. To purchase tickets, students should present a student ID, as well as a certificate from the university.

Of note, starting August 1 AZAL reduced prices for economy class seats by 20-30 percent on all international flights.

The tickets, including all taxes and fees, for these flights cost 99 euros each way if purchased through the AZAL website or the airline ticket offices.

On this route, travelers pay for each piece of luggage no heavier than 23 kg, while hand luggage weighing no more than 8 kg and measuring 55x35x20 cm is free.

As part of the flight promotion, passengers can participate in the AZAL Miles bonus program. Information about the program can be found at http://www.azal.az/ru/azal-miles.
