Azerbaijan traded with 134 countries in 9 months
Azerbaijan conducted trade with 134 countries in during the first
nine months of 2008. $42.2bn worth of import and export operations
were carried out. Of this, exports account for $37.7bn, while
imports reached $4.5bn, according to a source from the State
Statistics Committee.
In comparison with last year, this indicator has grown 5.7 times, including exports by 96% and imports by 31.9%. A total of 54.2% of import and export transactions were registered with EU countries, 6% with the CIS, while 39.8% with other countries.
