Customs transfers over 1 bln to state budget

The Azerbaijani State Customs Committee (SCC) transferred 1.01 billion manat to the state budget in January-September 2013 through collection of customs duties and taxes.
The committee reported that income from customs duties in September amounted to 214.38 million manat, value-added tax of imported goods was 723.45 million manat, excise taxes - 60.68 million manat and road tax - 13.28 million manat.
A forecast of transfers through the SCC for 2013 was set at 1.38 billion manat.
According to forecasts for 2013, the incomes of the state budget were approved at 19.159 billion manats (increasing by 12.4 percent), expenses - 19.85 billion manats (increasing by 12.1 percent), and the deficit of the state budget - 691 million manats (growth of 3.5 percent).
Azerbaijan's GDP for 2013 is projected at 56.1 billion manats, and economic growth - 5.3 percent.
