Forbes upgrades Azerbaijan on business climate
Azerbaijan ranked 81st among 121 countries on the conditions for
doing business in a Forbes magazine rating.
The indicator is an improvement compared to last year, when the country was rated 110th.
The United States and European nations lead the way. The small state of Denmark topped the list, followed by Ireland, Finland and Britain.
The rating was compiled based not only on key economic criteria such as GDP growth, inflation and unemployment, but also on the extent of economic and individual freedoms. The taxation system and legislation were taken into account as well.
