Ural Airlines opens new flights to Azerbaijan

Ural Airlines will launch flights to Azerbaijan in new directions, according to the message published on the website of the Federal Agency for Air Transport (Rosaviatsia).

The Federal Air Transport Agency has issued the airline a license for flights on routes Volgograd - Ganja and Volgograd - Baku. The license allows flights to these destinations seven days a week.

Currently, the airline is already operating flights from St. Petersburg to Baku and from Moscow to Lankaran.

Ural Airlines is a Russian passenger airline engaged in regular and charter domestic and international transportation.

The air company headquartered in Yekaterinburg was created in 1993. Its park includes 43 aircrafts. The flights are carried out on Airbus A320, A321 and 7-A319 aircrafts. Ural Airlines operates flights to Russian cities, Germany, Italy, Montenegro, the CIS countries and far abroad countries.

There are also direct flights from Russia to Azerbaijan operated by other airlines, such as Aeroflot, Azerbaijan Airlines, Nordwind Airlines, S7 Aurlines, UTair, IrAero.

There are six airports on the territory of Azerbaijan including in Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Lankaran, Zaqatala and Gabala.
