Azerbaijan, Belarus mull prospects for development of military and technical co-op

Azerbaijan and Belarus have outlined the areas for the implementation of new big projects aimed at increasing the fighting capacity of the Azerbaijani army, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a message.
According to the message, the military and technical cooperation issues were discussed at the meeting between Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and the delegation headed by Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus, Major-General Oleg Dvigalev.
The sides expressed gratification with the result of joint activity in the military, military and technical spheres between the two countries and stressed the importance of the development of cooperation in these spheres.
According to the message, the sides have also appreciated that the Azerbaijani army uses various military equipment, designed for all types of troops and produced by the enterprises of the military and industrial complex of Belarus.
