More than 44.2pct allocated to non-oil sector

In January-November it was spent $6.05 billion, or 44.2 percent to the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan out of $13.69 billion directed to the fixed capital from all sources of financing the development of the country's economic and social sphere.

The State Statistics Committee reported that the volume of investments in this sector increased by 8.5 percent compared to the same period of last year.

Some 73.4 percent of the total investments were directed to construction and installation works, 77.0 percent of funds were used for the production of objects, 17.1 percent-for the services sector and 5.9 percent-for the house construction.

The funds allocated from internal sources to fixed assets accounted for 42.2 percent of the total capital.

In January-November of 2016 it was directed $13 billion to the country’s fixed capital.

About $10.49 billion manats or 80.6 percent were directed to the production of objects, $1.99 billion (15.3 percent)-to the services sector, $529.7 million manats (4.1 percent)-to the house construction.

During the year, the funds allocated from internal sources to fixed assets amounted to $5.33 billion manats, or 41 percent.
