National gymnasts preparing for Baku 2015
Azerbaijani gymnasts, who will represent the country at the Baku 2015 European Games, are actively preparing for the tournament.
A member of the women’s group of acrobats, Lala Huseynova told Trend, that there is a high level preparation for the competition.
“We train every day and do everything we can to achieve high results,” she said. “I believe we’ll take the top places at the European Games.”
Azerbaijan will be represented at the Baku 2015 European Games by 28 gymnasts.
The gymnastics competitions as part of the Baku 2015 will kick off on June 14-21.
Baku 2015 is the first ever European Games, an exciting and innovative multi-sport event for the continent which will take place on June 12-28, 2015.
There will be a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.
Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
