Azerbaijan has procured new machinery and equipment to implement road construction projects in the liberated Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur regions, Azernews reports, citing the State Agency for Automobile Roads.

The agency has bought some 360 new machines and equipment under 40 different brands to carry out the road infrastructure projects in the liberated lands.

The equipment, produced by Turkiye, Russia, Japan, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Sweden, as well as local companies, greatly improves the quality of roads, hence extending their service life, the agency stressed.

It added that progressive reforms had been carried out at the State Agency under the overall development program, the relevant areas have been enhanced, modernized, as well as consistent, and new measures have been introduced to deliver higher quality services.

The agency presented the newly purchased machines and equipment, which will provide service to the road infrastructure in the territory of Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions.

Addressing the event, Saleh Mammadov of the State Agency for Automobile Roads said that the purchased equipment will be involved in the timely and high-quality implementation of road projects in the territories liberated from occupation.

The development of contemporary infrastructure, as well as the purchase of new equipment and vehicles, will enable the agency to perform its duties in any weather conditions in the liberated territories, Mammadov stressed.
