Azerbaijan, Georgia boost co-op in cyber security

A group of employees from the Electronic Security Center under Azerbaijan`s Communications and High Technologies Ministry visited the Cyber Security Center of the Georgian Justice Ministry on July 7-18.
The delegation, led by director of the Electronic Security Center Faig Farmanov, met with representatives of the Ministry's Data Exchange. The visit was aimed at developing cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan in the field of cyber security and exchange of experience, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The sides exchanged views on the possibilities of mutual cooperation in the field of improving cyber security in the region.
Besides, the Azerbaijani delegation familiarized themselves with the legislative and regulatory acts of Georgia in the field of cyber security.
Farmanov said in general the meeting was fruitful for Azerbaijan in terms of enhancing international cooperation in the field of cyber security.
