Azerbaijan Fibro Cement (AFC), a new plant dealing with the production of construction materials, will be put into operation in mid-2015, Synergy Group said on August 19.

The plant will produce facade and roof coatings of different colors and types, internal partitions and fiber-cement panels intended for flooring.

The Synergy Group project compiling with the highest environmental standards, is considering the establishment of a zero-waste production line based on the advanced Austrian technologies in this plant.

Fiber cement panel is safe for human health and environment, with water and damp-proof property. This material is distinguished with durability, longevity, fire resistance, lightness, decorative appearance, heat and sound insulation.

The products of AFC Company will provide an innovative solution to several issues in the construction market of Azerbaijan. As is known, rooftops of the buildings in the Azerbaijani regions are covered with harmful material to human health like asbestos material.

The company's main goal is to replace these harmful asbestos with fiber cement roofing via state's support.
