"Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC (ADY) has announced updates to suburban and domestic train schedules to facilitate safer and more comfortable passenger journeys during the COP29 event. This adjustment aligns with the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers' decision to modify work and rest days in November, Azernews reports.

ADY reports that maintenance on the Absheron circular railway line was successfully completed on October 30, ensuring a secure and timely passenger service. From November 11, trains will follow the schedule released on September 16. High-speed trains are scheduled to operate on November 8, 9, 10, 17, and 24 according to the non-working day timetable.

On November 11, 12, 13, 16, and 23, Baku-Sumgait-Baku trains will run as per the working day schedule. Adjustments have also been made to domestic routes: Baku-Gabala services initially set for November 16 and 23 have been rescheduled to November 17 and 24, with trains running both ways on those dates.

Additionally, extra trains will operate on the Baku-Agstafa-Baku route on November 8, 9, and 10. Trains will depart from Baku at 09:15, arriving in Agstafa at 15:40, and return trips from Agstafa at 17:00 will reach Baku by 23:38.

For detailed schedules and ticket information, passengers can visit ADY’s website (www.ady.az), use the "ADY Mobile" app, or contact the 1822 call center, available 24/7.
