British Airways adds Baku to its route network
British Airways is taking its next step to integrate bmi into its business as it welcomes the Baku to London service to its route network from winter 2012, the airline said last Friday.
British Airways will launch flights to former bmi route Baku from October 28, offering seven flights per week on an A321 aircraft. Services will be operated by British Airways aircraft and crew, offering the airline`s service style. The new flights will give business and leisure travellers access to hundreds of convenient connections from the carrier`s London hub to worldwide destinations.
British Airways will also launch a new winter timetable to former bmi routes Almaty, Amman, Beirut and Freetown from October 28. Tbilisi will now become a direct flight and move over to become a British Airways route from October 13.
British Airways has a worldwide route network that covers more than 150 destinations in 75 countries. The airline is one of the world`s largest international airlines carrying approximately 36 million passengers around the world every year.
