The last matches of ABL Spring Cup 2017/18 took place in Baku on May 28.

Before the final match, Trend Life asked several questions to the head coach of AZFAR football school, U-16 1987 World Championship champion for USSR Vladislav Kadirov.

- What are your first impressions of the tournament?

- I really liked the tournament. I liked the matched held and the organization of the tournament itself, which is carried out by AZFAR. In this regard, I want to congratulate all participants and project managers. The country celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Azerbaijan Democratic republic. On this occasion, I want to congratulate all the players and leaders that the matched games for the first and third places are held in such a wonderful day.

- What do you think this tournament can give to our football?

- First and foremost, it is the promotion of football and a healthy lifestyle. People are really happy to be here. I know that according to the rules of the tournament players who have not played at the professional level for the last four years are allowed to participate. I saw some players who played in my first league and in the top league in the team of masters. These people stayed at football. They even work in some organizations, do their own thing, but still play football, and it's very important that these people do not disappear. Today we brought the pupils from our football school to the tournament and this is good propaganda for the children. The more such tournaments, the more will develop not only football, it is for the good of all people.

-What can this tournament give to national football?

- Let's talk about the football school AZFAR. How long has your school been in operation?

- The school opened on January 15 this year. Despite such a short period, a lot of people come to us. Now we train about 80-85 children. Taking this opportunity, I want to say that our school has a good organization, infrastructure and qualified trainers. There are very promising football players. You can work on them in the future. Some of them, perhaps, will play in the national football team. Anything might happen.

- Perhaps. Many famous Brazilian footballers, such as Robinho, Ronaldinho started their career in mini-football.

- Yes, but we train in such fields simply because the children are small now. In the future, we will move on to larger fields. For our guys this field is enough. It is possible and on the big field to make a small site and train. We want that in October the team of our football school will take part in the country's championship, which is held under the auspices of AFFA.

- In which age categories are you going to take part?

- Now we are working on this is. The age group with more children will compete at the championship.

- How many age groups are there in your school?

- We have six age groups from 2004 birth through 2012.
