Romanian PM to discuss trade cooperation during Kazakhstan visit
Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta will visit Kazakhstan this week, official representative of the Central Communications Service under the Kazakh President, Altai Abibullayev, said at a press briefing on June 24.
"Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on June 27 at our invitation," he said. "A wide range of bilateral issues including the development of trade and economic cooperation will be discussed."
Abibullayev said that Romania is one of Kazakhstan's most important partners in Central and Eastern Europe.
"The geographical position of our countries also opens up broad opportunities for the development of transport and transit cooperation," he added.
