Human rights issues mulled in Baku
Azerbaijan's Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov has met Nils Muižnieks, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights.
The sides hailed cooperation between the ministry and the organization, and stressed the importance of an international conference on the implementation of European Convention on Human Rights to be held in Baku, AzerTag state news agency reported.
They discussed the protection of human rights, development of judicial system, and improvement of civil society.
