Azerbaijani MPs to join committee meetings of Euronest PA
Meetings of Euronest PA Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy and Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society will be held on October 31 and November 1, Azertac reported.
Azerbaijani MPs Rasim Musabayov and Malahat Ibrahimgizi will attend the meetings.
The issues on ensuring integration and independent media in Eastern Partnership and EU countries, draft reports on the status of women in the labor market, committees’ action plan for 2017 and others will be focused on at the meetings.
During the visit, meetings will be held with Prime Minister of Ukraine, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Foreign Minister and other officials.
The Azerbaijani parliamentarians will deliver speeches, exchange view on the aforementioned issues.
The Euronest Parliamentary Assembly is the inter-parliamentary forum in which members of the European Parliament and the national parliaments of Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia participate. It was established as a component of the Eastern Partnership.
