FM: Costa Rica seeks to implement joint projects with Azerbaijan
Costa Rican Minister of Foreign Affairs and Religion Manuel Gonzalez Sanz has expressed his country`s interest in enhancing cooperation with Azerbaijan as he met with Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on the sidelines of the 71st Regular Session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Azertac reported.
He said Costa Rica seeks closer cooperation and wants to implement joint projects with Azerbaijan in all areas, particularly in economic, humanitarian and tourism fields.
Mammadyarov, for his part, underlined that Azerbaijan attaches great impotance to its relations with South and Central American countries, particularly Costa Rica.
He noted that the Costa Rican FM`s visit to Azerbaijan last October made a significant contribution to the development of bilateral relations.
