Famous Azerbaijani artist's works to go on show at Moscow art festival
Moscow's Central House of Artists will host an International Art
Festival "Traditions and Modernity" from June 26-30.
The exhibition will showcase the artworks of over 300 artists from
Azerbaijan, Russia, the USA, Austria, Germany, and the
Netherlands.
Works by famous Azerbaijani artist Tahir Salakhov will also go on
show together with works by Belarusian artists Andrey Smolyak and
Andrey Ostashov, Kazakh artist Armat Bektas, Romanian painter
Adriana Badea, Swiss artist Olga Rel, Ukrainian masters Vladimir
Denschinkov, Italian sculptor Federico Severino and others.
The winners will be awarded a bronze statuette "Faith", which
embodies the belief in creativity, love and success. Ceremonial
presentation of awards will take place on July 1 at the stage of ET
Cetera Theater.
The festival opens new names in the world of contemporary art from
year to year and supports both beginners and professional artists
around the world. The festival is organized by Moscow Public Fund
for Support and Development of Culture of Modern Art under the
auspices of UNESCO.
