Azerbaijan to bring ancient manuscripts from Iran, Turkey and India
Institute of Manuscripts named after Mahammad Fizuli of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences will bring the copies of the ancient manuscripts from Iran, Turkey and India to Azerbaijan, AzerTac state news agency reported.
According to the Institute, Deputy Director of the Manuscripts Institute - PhD Pasha Karimov said the copies of the manuscripts related to the Azerbaijani literature and history will be brought to the country. The scripts will mainly capture the period of XV-XVI centuries - the Safavid dynasty till the XIX century. Classical ghazals of Ibrahim Cahi - grandson of Shah Ismail will be among them.
