AZAL cancels commission rewards for ticket sales agents
Azerbaijani state airline AZAL, following the generally applicable international practice and in order to maintain further improvement of the ticketing process, cancel commission rewards for ticket sales agents on Istanbul and Ankara routes, starting from December 1, AZAL said Tuesday, Trend news agency reported.
According to the airline recommendation, authorized issuing agencies have a right to collect service charge from 30 manat on economy class and up to 80 manat on business class for these destinations.
Similar scheme was successfully implemented for some other destinations during past several months.
Ticket agencies have not yet commented the impact of this decision on the cost of tickets in these directions.
