Production of construction materials to rise 30 pct in 2013 - minister
Azerbaijan expects a 30.1-percent growth in the production of construction materials in the country in 2013, in the next three years - by 36.9 per cent on average per year.
Azerbaijani Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev made this statement on Tuesday during discussion of the draft state budget for 2013 and next three years in the country's parliament.
"This growth is due to expected launch of new enterprises for production of cement, metalware and other construction materials in 2013," Mustafayev said.
In 2013-2016 engineering industry will grow by 7.3 percent per year on average, manufacturing of transport vehicles will increase by an average of 30.9 percent due to commissioning of shipyard.
A 4.4-percent growth is expected in food production in 2013, and in the subsequent three years - by 4.9 percent on average per year.
A 5.1-percent growth is projected in the field of agriculture, forestry and fishery production in 2013, in the next three years - 5.3 percent per year on average.
