Earthquake jolts Kazakhstan
An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale was recorded in south-eastern Kazakhstan on July 3, Kazakhstan's Seismological Expedition of the Science Committee under Education and Science Ministry reported.
The earthquake occurred at 4:57 a.m. local time (July 2, 10:57 p.m. Greenwich time), 293 kilometers to the north-east from the city of Almaty.
There is no information about victims or damage.
