Ashgabat, Tel Aviv expand co-op

Turkmen-Israeli political consultations have been held in Jerusalem, the Turkmen government said on February 5.
The sides exchanged the views on international issues, also discussed the priority areas of cooperation in the political and trade and economic spheres during the meeting.
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Turkmen and Israeli foreign ministries following the consultations.
Turkmen Ambassador to Turkey and Israel Ata Serdarov delivered his credentials to Israeli President Shimon Peres earlier.
During a meeting in Tel Aviv, the Israeli president asked the Turkmen diplomat to convey warm greetings and good wishes to his Turkmen counterpart.
