Estonian president to visit Georgia

Estonian President Toomas Ilves will pay an official visit to Georgia soon.
This was agreed at a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President Toomas Ilves in Davos, prime minister's office reported.
The initiative to visit Georgia was put forward by Ilves. The Georgian side stated that an official invitation to the Estonian president will be sent soon.
During the meeting the parties discussed bilateral relations and prospects of Georgia's integration to NATO and EU. Estonia actively assists Georgia in this issue.
Garibashvili is on working visit to Switzerland, where he participates in Davos 44th World Economic Forum.
During his visit, Garibashvili also met with his Finnish counterpart Jyrki Katainen. The parties discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and spoke for deepening of these relations.
He thanked Finland for strong support to Georgia's territorial integrity, its Euro-Atlantic and European aspirations, as well as for participation in EU monitoring mission in Georgia.
