Iran names China its strategic partner
Tehran and Beijing signed a memorandum on security on July 4 during Iran's Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar's visit to China, IRNA reported .
"China can be called as an "Iran's strategic partner"," Najjar said. "Signing of the memorandum on security between two nations opened a new cooperation field in the region."
However, Najjar declined to mention the content.
Earlier the minister said that Iran and China will sign a memorandum on security and memorandum would be a turning point in bilateral cooperation between the two countries, which was already at a high level in various fields including the fight against drug trafficking and international organized crimes.
