Further development of relations between the higher legislative bodies of Uzbekistan and Spain was mulled at a meeting of a parliamentary delegation led by the Spanish senator from the province of Valencia, member of the Council of Europe, Pedro Argamunt , with the members of the Legislative Chamber of the Uzbek parliament.

During the meeting , the sides discussed the state and prospects of further development of the Uzbek-Spanish dialogue, issues of legislative support for bilateral cooperation in political, trade and economic and investment fields.

The Spanish side stressed that the agreements reached during meetings of the heads of states create important legal basis for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Spain.

They also spoke about the huge potential that the two countries have in the development of cooperation in the fields of tourism, as well as construction industry
