CoE's Venice Commission arrives in Georgia
A delegation from the Council of Europe's Venice Commission, headed by its president Gianni Buquicchio, arrived in Tbilisi on Wednesday, Trend news agency reported.
The head of the delegation said at Tbilisi airport that the delegation will hold meetings with representatives of all branches of the Georgian government.
The delegation will discuss constitutional amendments developed by the Supreme Court of Georgia and the parliament, the act of amnesty and offer its expert opinions.
"We have good relations and business contacts with Georgia and these will become even closer during this visit," Buquicchio said.
Buquicchio added that another CoE delegation will arrive in next few days, which will deal with technical issues.
