Azerbaijani Army stages large-scale exercises

The Azerbaijani Armed Forces conduct large-scale military drills on the front zone.
The military exercises led by Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov are underway in accordance with the combat training plan-2014, the ministry said on May 28.
The practical firearm and armored vehicle, mortar and rocket-artillery shooting, using modern methods of warfare was demonstrated during the exercises. The military aviation and air defense system were also observed.
The combat readiness level of the military units was examined, special attention was given to more efficient and effective implementation of the tasks, preparation of operations by headquarters, interoperability and security organization.
Azerbaijani Air Forces have recently conducted air defense drills aimed at evaluating the military personnel's ability to perform combat assignments correctly.
