Azerbaijan -Morocco co-op hailed
Azerbaijan and Morocco would continue their joint efforts to
expand cooperation both in bilateral format and within
international organizations, Ambassador Hassan Hami said at the
official reception to mark the Moroccan Enthronement Day in Baku on
July 30, AzerTag state news agency reported.
Highlighting his country`s history and its development way, the ambassador also appraised the Azerbaijan-Morocco cooperation.
Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abbasov, in turn, congratulated the Moroccan people on Enthronement Day.
The Minister recalled Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev`s visits to Morocco. He also highlighted the history of establishment of the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Noting that Morocco was one of the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan`s independence, he said that traditional friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Morocco would continue to serve the interests and prosperity of the two countries` peoples.
