Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s office in Russia holds charity events
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s office in Russia has held a
series of charity events in Moscow and more than 25 regions of
Russia on the occasion of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and
the New Year, AzerTac state news agency reported.
The events were initiated by Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev
Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s Russian representation remains loyal
to its tradition of treating orphans and children deprived of
parental protection with special care.
Employees of the office visited the Center for Scientific and
Practical Medical Assistance to Children and several
orphanages.
The charity events were supported by the Socio-Cultural Initiatives
Foundation and the Church of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Chairman of the Center for Scientific and Practical Medical
Assistance to Children Andrei Pritiko praised relations between
Azerbaijan and Russia.
The representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s office in
Russia met children treated in the Center`s departments of
diagnostics, oncology, neurosurgery and rehabilitation.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented gifts, fruits, books and
toys to the children.
