Baku to host exhibition dedicated to carpets

The Baku Museum of Modern Art will open its doors to a solo exhibition of famous artist Vugar Muradov on May 5-21.

Throughout his career, Vugar Muradov has developed a subtle visual strategy of sensuous sign, which becomes a sign of deep feelings, easily penetrating into the soul of each spectator.

This time the artist will present 16 colorful works devoted to carpets.

Vugar Muradov is a graduate of Baku Art School named after Azim Azimzade. He is a member of Azerbaijani Artists' Union, the Cartoonists Union and the Photographers Union.

Muradov is also a member of the International Federation of Artists UNESCO. He is a participant of many international exhibitions and symposia.

The artist's works are exhibited and kept in private collections in the USA, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Iran, etc.
