Turkic states to mull tourism issues

Istanbul will host the first meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (CCTS) working group on tourism on December 10.

The meeting will feature discussions on expansion of relations in tourism sector, strengthening of exchange of experience and cooperation within governmental and non-governmental sectors, as well as joint participation in regional and international fairs.

The participants will also discuss a draft document of the Joint Cooperation Protocol which is expected to be signed at a meeting of Tourism Ministers of CCTS member states in 2014.

The Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States was established in 2009 as an international intergovernmental organization, with the overarching aim of promoting comprehensive cooperation among Turkic Speaking States. Its four founding member States are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
