Working group created in Azerbaijan to solve problems with gas and electricity supply

The discussions were held with the representatives of Azerigaz Production Union, Azerishiq OJSC and the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency in the country’s Energy Ministry to rapidly solve the problems and consider the complaints concerning the supply of gas and electricity to the country’s citizens, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy on April 19.

Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov stressed that handling of the complaints received from citizens and the issues raised by them is under the ministry’s control.

The minister also emphasized the need to strengthen the work in this direction.

According to Shahbazov’s order, a working group was established under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Energy Elnur Soltanov, which includes the representatives of the structural units of the three above-mentioned structures.

Together with handling of the citizens' complaints, instructions were given for on-site analyzing and examining the corresponding appeals, determining the factors causing the occurrence of problems and taking the corresponding measures.
