The film "People of the third day" will be premiered in Nizami Cinema on June 30.
The storyline is about Nagorno-Karabakh war. The main hero, freed from prison, discovers that his relatives are no longer alive, and the native land is under occupation. He is looking for ways to visit his parents ' graves...
"People of the third day" was shot by "Azerbaijanfilm" cinema studio, Trend Life reported.
The film's director is Babek Shirinsifet, script writer – Maksud Garaysha, operator-directors - Rafig Nasirov and Arif Niftiev, composer – Firudin Allakhverdi, producer- Mushfig Hatamov.
The cast includes Hikmat Raghimov, Rasim Jafarov, Kamran Agabalaev,
Nijat Gabibov, Vidadi Aliyev, Mehriban Zeki, Matanat Abbasova, Khalida Guliyeva, Zarina Gurbanova, Mamed Safa, Aichad Mammadov.
Since a war in the early 1990s, Armenian armed forces have occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan's territory, including Nagorno-Karabakh and seven surrounding regions. More than 20,000 Azerbaijanis were killed and over 1 million were displaced as a result of the large-scale hostilities.
Armenia has not yet implemented four UN Security Council resolutions on withdrawal of its armed forces from the Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding districts.
