Shahdag offers exciting day for bike lovers

The Shahdag winter and summer tourism complex will host an exciting event Day of Cyclists for bike lovers on July 25.
The complex organized several cycling roads for amateurs and professionals to be ready for amazing contests.
The length of the tracks starts from one to three kilometers. There are various obstacles such as jumps and ramps on the track for amateurs, which provide cyclists an opportunity to practice their skills.
The extreme track is considerably longer and more complex, in addition, the cyclist will have an opportunity to enjoy climbing the track via cableway.
The complex wants to give the participants an opportunity to take pleasure cycling, that’s why riders can enjoy the unlimited number of lifts via cableway during that day.
Participants will be transported to the start point, which is located on high of 2,351 meters above sea level, by special vehicles.
If the cyclists get tired of cycling, they will also have a chance to enjoy other entertainments such as paintball, zip line, Segway, and quads. The complex also provides interesting activities for children.
Shahdag complex located 30 km north of the town of Gusar, 2,500 meters above sea level, is outstanding with its rich nature, crystal-clear air, and favorable climate with a temperatures ranging between minus 20-22 degrees in winter and 20 degrees in summer.
The complex which covers an area of 2,058 hectares, is one of the most advanced construction projects not only in Azerbaijan, but also in the world.
All these provide the modern tourism complex with high standards. It was visited by 85,000 tourists in 2014.
Breathtakingly beautiful, a haven hidden from time, Shahdag is an experience not soon forgotten.
