Another marvelous season has arrived in Azerbaijan and there are plenty of interesting things to do in the country's capital and regions in early autumn.

What is so special about early autumn? The weather is still nice and relatively warm. Like Indian summer, it may expand through September and early October. Then, the weather begins to get cold and rainy.

This year, forecasts say the weather will be hot through September.

So it means that you can still enjoy beach trips and rest on the seaside, as the sea accumulated enough warmth to be like hot milk for at least a month.

However, the weather is not so baking hot like in July and August, and it is comfortable to travel to many tourists' attractions, like Gobustan National Park, one of the most ancient settlements in Azerbaijan, or Qala Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum Complex, to study medieval Absheron settlement.

In capital city Baku, you can witness opening of the new season in theaters and concert halls. One of the brightest event in the music life of Baku is annually International Jazz Festival that attracts the most famous artists around the world, along with talented Azerbaijani musicians.

In the regions of the country, you will definitely like traveling in the yellowish-reddish national parks, breathing the pure and fresh air of the mountainous areas.

Autumn is a fruitful season, and you can replenish vitamins for the cold winter. After tasting delicious figs, watermelon, walnuts, quince, persimmons and pomegranates, you will fall in love with Azerbaijan for a long time, may be for ever.

You can take some fruits with you for your friends, and they will definitely be jealous, that you have discovered such a tasteful country.

Do not forget to visit Goychay region in October to witness a bright and splendid Holiday of Pomegranate. It is a real fair festival that attracts not only locals but also many tourists.

When the rainy period starts, you can get warm in popular rest places around the country. In teahouses, you can enjoy freshly made jams of local fruits and berries while drinking scented local tea.

Be sure that you will like the velvet period in Azerbaijan as much as you enjoyed spring and summer.
