Tourism week wraps up in Baku [PHOTO]

Tourism Week timed to World Tourism Day wrapped up in Baku.
The project launched on September 27 aimed at encouraging the young people’s interest in the traditional art of carpet weaving, historical monuments and cultural heritage.
The excursion to the historical sites of Baku was organized for children deprived of parental care as part of event, Trend Life reported.
The pupils of Children's of Home No.1 visited the State Historical and Architectural Reserve “Icherisheher”, the Gala State History and Ethnography Reserve, National Museum of History of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Carpet Museum.
Many people around celebrate the United Nations’ (UN) World Tourism Day, which is on September 27 each year. The day aims to foster awareness among the international community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic values.
