Azerbaijani judo fighters shine at European Cup
Azerbaijani young judo fighters have won a clutch of four medals in the 7th European Judo Cup 2016 in Orenburg, Russia, Azertac reports.
Zelym Kotsoiev in a weight category of 100kg and Hidayat Heydarov in 73kg brought home gold medals, while Rasim Almammadov snatched silver in 60kg weight category.
Tural Safguliyev in 90kg weight class earned a bronze medal at the tournament.
The European Judo Cup brought together more than 200 fighters from 18 countries of Europe and Asia.
