National judokas to vie for medals of Grand Prix Almaty
Azerbaijani judo fighters will compete in the International Judo Federation's Grand Prix stage to be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, from May 13-15. Azerbaijan`s squad will include 14 judo fighters, Azertac reports.
Nearly 420 fighters from more than 80 countries are expected to challenge the rating points at the tournament needed to book a spot in the upcoming Summer Olympics in Rio.
