Azerbaijani cyclists participate in Tour of China

The opening stage of International Cyclists Union of 2.1 category 2014 Tour of China set off in the city of Xian on August 30.
In the competition involving 22 teams, the first Azerbaijan professional continental cycling team, "Synergy Baku" also participated.
The members of Azerbaijani team Matthew Bremmier, Markus Eybeger, Alexander Surutkovic and Elchin Asadov finished the first stage of 93.6km within the pelaton at the same time with the winner of the stage, 02:02:34 seconds.
The case was repeated in the second stage of 137 km, where Azerbaijani cyclists Matthew Bremmier, Markus Eybeger, Alexander Surutkovic and Elchin Asadov reached the finish line at the same time with the winner of the stage 02:43:46 seconds.
The highest indicator among our cyclists at the list after two
stages belongs to Matthew Bremmier - he took the fifth place.
The third stage of the tour will be held on September 1, where the
participants must pass the distance of 122.5 km from Guangwu to
Nanjing.
