Azerbaijan's Mammadyarov ups in FIDE ranking
Azerbaijani grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov has climbed up into 7th place in the updated FIDE World Ranking, AzerTag state news agency reported.
Teymur Rajabov also moved up 14 places to 19th while Rauf Mammadov, Gadir Huseynov and Eltaj Safarli placed 37th, 64th, and 81st, respectively.
Norwegian Magnus Carlsen tops the list with the 2854 points.
