AZFAR Business League - ABL Cup 2017/18 among Azerbaijani companies kicks off in Baku.

The mini-football championship Azfar Business League of such format and scale is held for the first time in Azerbaijan and takes place on the professional pitches of the AZFAR company, Trend Life reported.

The tournament is organized by ASEP (AZFAR SPORT EVENT & PROMOTION).

The matches for 17-32 places took place on December 2, Trend Life reported.

"Pullman" team gained victory over "Timsport, with 9-3 score.

An interesting game took place between "Gate Baku" and "GT Solutions" which ended with 8-2 score. The game between "Smart System Technology" and "DDLAR Group" ended with a score 0-8.

The most intense match was between "Kapital bank" and "VTB". Each team tried to show a strong game. As a result, the victory still went to "Kapital bank" with a score 2-1. The match between "Norm" and "Bakcell" turned out to be equally exciting, but in the end the final result was 1-2 in favor of the mobile communication company.

The teams "TreMiDa", "Azergold" and "Deloitte" were awarded technical victories with a score of 3-0 for non-appearance of rivals.

The matches for the ¼ finals were on December 3.

The first match was between "Buta Palace" and "Polatyol". Team "Buta Palace" distinguished with a confident game. But the opposing team was stronger, and "Polatyol" snatched the victory with a score 6-3.

The match between "Təmiz Şəhər" and "Silk Way Group" revealed the winner with only one goal. 1-0 in favor of "Silk Way Group". Thanks to the confident game "Azecolab" won "ATL Tech" with a score 7-1.

The match between "City Taxi" and "M Group Production" was very exciting. In the first half, "City Taxi" was ahead of the opponent's team and the victory seemed close. But in the second half the situation changed dramatically - "M Group Production" scored 4 goals and won with a score 4-3. The central match was the game "Gilan Holding" and "Azersun".

The tense atmosphere at the beginning of the game and the productive game "Azersun" recorded a victory with a score 7-1. Throughout the match, "Katv1" and "Iteca Caspian" showed an equal game. Both teams tried to get ahead of the rival's team. But fortune was on the side of "Iteca Caspian", which won with a score 3-2. The match between "Universal" and "Muğanbank" ended with a score 6-2. Another very interesting and productive game was between "Port of Baku" and "Embawood". The desire to win was more than enough, but the game ended with 7-6 in favor of "Port of Baku".
