Many rising mixed martial arts stars from 12 country gathered in Georgian capital Tbilisi for World MMA Championships among Youth.

Azerbaijani fighters won a glorious victory, beating their Armenian rivals in the final, Trend Life.

The winners also include two brothers, the-11 years old Ramiz Mammadov and the 12-years old Agasef Mammadov.

Young athletes were trained by coach Orkhan Mammadov.

Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a hybrid combat sport incorporating techniques from boxing, wrestling, judo, jujitsu, karate, Muay Thai (Thai boxing), and other disciplines.

Over 6,000 years ago the earliest form of a mixed martial art was invented in ancient China by Han Chinese military generals and soldiers called Shuai jiao.

Azerbaijan Fight Club is a professional sport club specializing in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts).

The Fight Club was founded in December 2012 and headed by Shahriyar Abbasov, international master of sport. The club’s task is to advance, develop and organize MMA sport in Azerbaijan. It aims to train MMA fighters and promote them in the local and international arena.

Azerbaijan Fight Club promotes its own professional championships and assists in promoting MMA championships in country's regions. In spite of being young, it has established itself as a leader in Azerbaijan. Due to the rapid development the two branches of the club have been opened in Nakhchivan AR and Sumgayit city.
