Baku City Circuit (BCC) has announced that a ticket sales for the 2018 Grand Prix of Azerbaijan will be available to purchase online via www.bakucitycircuit.com from November 6, 2017.

Tickets for the Third F1 race in Baku will be offered at discount prices during the first two months, BCC reported.

Nigar Arpadarai, head of Marketing and Communications at Baku City Circuit said that motorsport lovers will be able to purchase tickets for a home race at very favorable prices.

"We are very pleased with the fact that the local public interest in the race weekend is growing from year to year, and every coming weekend promises to the audience more drive both on the road and beyond, including an interesting entertainment program and concerts of the world stars," said Arpadarai.

Discounts for tickets, prepared specifically for local motorsport fans, will be able to attract many more people and will lead to the growth of the of Formula 1 fans in Azerbaijan.

In 2018, Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held on April 27-29.

The 2017 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix – the 8th round of the 2017 FIA Formula One World Championship – was held in Baku on June 23-25. Ten teams, two drivers in each, competed on the 6-kilometer Baku City Circuit.

Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo won the 2017 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes came in second, while Lance Stroll of Williams was third.
