ASEP company, which organizes mini football tournament ABL Cup, has set the priority of creating a modern website for the coverage of the tournament.

The leading foreign examples were analyzed in this regard to ensure that the website is an information-rich, colorful and convenient to use.

The project was entrusted to the company MediaDesign, which since 2003 has been successful in the field of information technology and web development.

The design of www.abl.az was made in a visually rich style. All sections of the site have been thoroughly studied in order to exclude stereotypes and, on the contrary, to fully disclose the necessary information.

Particular attention was paid to the design of the "Main Page", which serves as a navigator for the most important events to all internal sections.

Since the launch in this July, the website has published press releases of the Organizing Committee and highlights of the preparations for the first tournament ABL Cup-2017/18:

Visitors of the site can familiarize themselves with the rules of the tournament (www.abl.az/az/node/738) and its detailed description (www.abl.az/az/node/649).

Following the draw ceremony, the website will publish the compositions of the Groups and the schedule of the matches. The course of each match in each group will be displayed on a separate page with announcements and match results. Visitors to the site will be able to see the reviews of each tour, relative photos and videos.

A detailed report on each match will be posted on the website: the starting lineups and the reserve lists will be listed, information on goals and scoring transfers, fines, substitutions, etc. Visitors to the site will be able to leave their predictions for the outcome of matches and publish them in their profiles on Facebook.

Each team in a separate section will have a schedule of upcoming and the results of past matches, lists of disqualified players.

The long-term statistics on results of matches played, goals scored and conceded, assists, fines, etc., will be tracked for each team.

Similar statistics will be maintained for each player.

In the "Statistics" section user will find the comparative statistics with the lists of the best scorers, assistants, goalkeepers, as well as comparative statistics for teams on goals scored and conceded, penalties, etc.

After the draw of playoffs round, the site will display the draw of the places from the 1st to the 16th. A similar system d will reflect the drawing of matches from 17th to 32nd.

The display of such extensive content will be carried out using the latest technology. For all blocks and elements, there will be a balance between usability and interactivity. The site will be fully adapted to display on tablets, smartphones and other devices with small screens.

Given all of the above, one can be sure that the site ABL Cup www.abl.az will be interesting and useful for participating teams and their fans.
