On April 23, 2017 the second cycling contest arranged by Azerbaijan Islamic Solidarity Games Operations Committee (AISGOC) was held among Baku-2017 volunteers.
As the first cycling contest attracted large attention, shortly after that it was decided to hold the second one which this time involved 130 volunteers.
Enthusiastic Baku-2017 volunteers demonstrated a highly competitive show. Three contestants who finished first in the final phase were proclaimed winners of the competition held nearby Baku Crystal Hall. Volunteer victors Abdurahmanova Aygul, Bakhtiyarov Islam, və Jumshudov Mirzaagha were rewarded bicycles at the award ceremony.
The purpose of the contest was to promote healthy lifestyle, encourage youth’s interest in sports as well as arrange active leisure time for Baku-2017 volunteers.
